Permits are needed for burning brush, explosive demolition, and black powder storage.  More information available on our permits page.

Inspections

Oil burner, smoke, and carbon monoxide detector inspections must be scheduled 7 days in advance by phone (978)779-2203, or e-mail, emt-ff@townofbolton.com.

House Numbers

Town of Bolton bylaws state that every residence must have a clearly marked address number at the roadside of their property.  For most households, a number on a mailbox will suffice.  However, if there is no mailbox properties must must have sign with the house number posted at the end of their drive.

Visits and Exhibitions

The Bolton Fire Department welcomes local youth groups on a regular basis for fire safety education and awareness.  If your group would like to visit the department, feel free to call or e-mail us to arrange a visit.
